[Week 4] 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2012: China vs. Netherlands

March 3, 2012. China and Netherland were the two countries that performed astounding pyromusical show last Saturday. Everybody prepared themselves for the breath-taking fireworks exhibition of China since they won the 2011 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. Will China defend its throne as the Defending Champion of the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition?

China

Netherlands

Celebrating Fireworks in Royal Style. Royal Fireworks is Netherland’s pride when it comes to fireworks displays. They showcase their pyrotechnics in weddings, events, entertainment, parties, and the like. They are fully certified by the Dutch and German CE mark. Their good quality and strict requirement in safety makes them an expert in Pyrotechnics all over Europe. 

My verdict: China performed well! The colourful and beautiful China History made them outstand from the rest. However, I found a dull moment during the storytelling of China History; it will be more exciting if they synchronized the storytelling and the fireworks. On the other hand, I like the Netherland’s Pyromusical presentation; it was a breath-taking performance. The vibrant colors and good selection of the songs gives me a hyper mood that night. China and Netherland did a really good job. They both gave an exciting but of different approached pyromusical presentation; the first one with a great story and the second one with a great fireworks display.
