Anya Resort: Your Luxury Home in Tagaytay

If you are from Metro Manila or nearby areas, Tagaytay is one of the go-to places for a quick getaway trips, whether it is just for food, visit at the park, staycations or just a quick escape from the metropolis. Since the girlfriend is on a vacation from work with no definite plans on what, where and how she’s going to spend it (finally, after several occasions of postponing that vacation leave!), my surprise slash promised posh staycation in Tagaytay will materialised. Good thing though that it will be happening on a weekdays on which I looked forward for. Simply because, we wanted to avoid the weekend crowd and have a quiet and relaxing stay. Of course, with all the requirements needed for a post stay and a surrounding that would entails serenity, Anya Resort Tagaytay has everything that we visualise. At first, I never thought that this wonderful resort exist in Tagaytay and what exciting about it is that, it is listed as one of the three Philippine hotels in Small Luxury Hotels of the World

“Welcome Home”
Anya Resort Tagaytay

Our arrival in Anya Resort was amazing. We felt secured and welcomed as we entered the resort’s vicinity. As we passed by the front gate, we were welcomed warmly by the guard-on-duty and greeted us a “Welcome Home” and as we set foot at the resort’s lobby, the staffs also did the same, they happily welcomed us by saying “Welcome Home!” From this moment, we felt that we were valued and appreciated and wanted to make us feel at home. Afterwards, the staffs immediately assisted us with our luggage. As they finalizing our check-in, we waited at their high ceiling, where natural light comes in, equipped with sophisticated and soft sofas, lobby. Their furniture and interiors gives you a home feeling. Upon arrival, a welcome drink called ‘Anisha’ – a lemon like with mint drink and buchi plus a cold towel were given to us to freshen up. In less that 10-15mins of verifying our booking and preparing our room, we were assisted by their staff, who also drove the golf cart all the way to our room. It seems like we had a personal chauffeur. Well, you got what you paid for!

Junior King Suite

We booked and stayed in a Junior King Suite, located on second floor whereas the balcony has a stunning view of the nature, mostly greens and some pineapples. The moment we entered our room; we were greeted by the scent of freshness of the room, the restroom stands out as it has an equally alluring scent. The room was very clean and tidy, spacious and homey. The king-size bed was very comfy that made us stayed in the room and enjoyed every corner of it. The Junior King Suite had a 40 inch Full HD LED TV. And the bathroom, does I already mentioned that it’s huge? Well, I just had to emphasize how happy we were with our room. Everything you need was here, complete set of toiletries, it has a tub, a hot/cold rain shower, and two sinks – a big plus for my girlfriend since she always wants a separate one. And these were just some of the reasons why we had rather stayed in our room. Plus, they always had treats for us to indulge.

"Anya Resort Tagaytay and Beyond"

well, exploring the place even at night

The resort has heated pools, gym, spa, library and restaurants. The pool was great and just enough for the weekday crowd. We had a quick tour inside their library. The library was elegant, the girlfriend and I liked the interiors and everything in there it was such a dream home office/library. Facing the swimming pool, is the Anila Restaurant – where we had our breakfast. As for the breakfast, we had set breakfast which was included with the accommodation. As for the other dining, there’s the Amra – which offers a variety of foods like sandwiches, burgers, pizza and drinks. And Samira - Anya’s fine dining restaurant.

Overall, we had a great staycation at Anya Resort Tagaytay. Though, the rates were quite pricey as compared to other hotels in Tagaytay, I assure you that you get what you paid for and I can say it’s worth every penny that you spent. We had a wonderful time even just for a night and can’t wait to go back with the family because I am sure that Ay’s nieces will definitely enjoy the swimming pool, the bath tub and the Anya Resort itself the way we did!
