Albeit, many Filipinos are still under the stigma that traveling is expensive. Meanwhile, I promised to my sister that I was going to treat her an all-expense paid Boracay getaway since most of the time, she can’t join on our family travels due to prior commitment and work. So, while I was cramming and looking for a good deal going to Caticlan or Kalibo – the gateway going to Boracay Island, I came across to PHBus, a transportation-related website in the Philippines. For me, it is a one-stop shop website where I can search for any means of transportation going to a place I wanted to. By using the site – I can compare fare rates and have the best option whether for time or money-constraint scenarios!
How to use PHBus?
Go to the website, www.phbus.com.
Click "Find Tickets" tab.
Enter the place where you are coming from, going to and the date of travel then click “Find Tickets” button.

You will be redirected to a new window with the list of of all available means of transportation you’re going to book – I opted for “All” so that all the fares for bus, ferry and/or airplane will show up.
As a result, all the possible means of transportation are displayed.

By now, you already have an idea of how much is the fare for that specific destination. If you are ok with the price or rates, then you may continue your booking by selecting the preferred date and time of departure and click "Book Now" button. Just follow the instructions for payment to receiving of the itinerary. With that, booking is now very accessible and convenient as you can do this via mobile, too!
In addition, you can also purchase bus tickets going to Naga, Masbate, Sorsogon, among others, and even going to the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio, with an option of booking from your favorite and trusted bus lines such as Philtranco, Penafrancia Tours, Isarog Bus Lines, Jac Liner, Partas, DLTB Bus, Florida, Genesis, Joy Bus and even RORO Bus, and many more.
