It
was past three in the morning when we headed to Clark coming from Makati. The
rain was pouring badly hard, the way it fell soundly onto the roof of the car
as we passed by to North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) going to the airport to catch for
my 6:00AM flight bound to Coron, Palawan. Good thing, despite the heavy
rainfalls, NLEX is always reliable for making our travel time shorter and
quicker. Well, that is one of the perks of living in the north.
And
with that having said, travelling to north for a short and sweet escape to
unwind and relax is very much accessible and Bataan is one of the places that
offer an easy-peasy tour packages without ruining your budget but rather gives
you a vacation or an adventure that you’ve been looking for. As being frequent
to Bataan, I can tell that this place in the north is a progressing town and
surpassed the test of time through innovation and unstopping growth through its
working hard government. Bataan is just a 2-hour away from Manila via NLEX and just right after we exited at Dinalupihan Tollgate, we were welcomed
by its rich history.

There you have it! I hope this entice you to visit Bataan and get to know them more aside from celebrating the “Araw ng Kagitingan” every 9th of April. Looking at these packages, seems like I still have more to discover in Bataan, well a day or two is surely not enough to know Bataan better. So, I am pretty sure that I’ll be in Bataan again anytime soon.
