It's not too long ago when I last visited Pampanga, well, t'was included on our Lakbay Norte 8 itinerary but of course, who can say no to an invite about exploring, once again, Pampanga. It has a lot to offer and beyond its historic structures, the food is to die for! More so, its people is already enough reason to be there often or I must say, very very often. It is only less than 2 hours away from Metro Manila via North Luzon Expressway, so might as well, indulge yourselves with eating, learning or a sweet escape thru staycation.
Surprisingly, Pampanga has so many hotels that offers beyond accessibility and comfort. Azzurro Hotel is one of those that also offers booze and music kind-of-night. My stay was during the Hot Air Balloon 2019 festival held at Clark Global City, Clark, Pampanga. I was invited by a blogger friend Karla and of course, being an energetic and happy booster Karla is, saying a yes was an easy task and everything was being taken care of with the help of Armela who let us experience Pampanga the best way she can, well, we did a lot of things such as a half-day tour at Dinosaur's Island, did a firing lesson at Mountain Clark Firing Range, horseback riding at El Kabayo, ate a lot and pampered at the same time . Can I say that our 3 days were full of fun activities and first time experiences ?! On which, our comfy beds at Azzurro Hotel took good care of our weary, tired body and yet happy soul.

Meanwhile, after our delightful experience at the hot air balloon festival, it was almost 2 in the afternoon when we checked-in at Azurro Hotel,the Deluxe Twin room was perfect to provide us a comfortable stay. As I stepped inside the room and took several photos, I lay on the bed and in no time, I fell asleep. It was around 7 in the night when I woke up because my tummy was looking for some food. Looks like my soft bed and warm sheets were so clingy that they already pampered me with a good and sound sleep for 5 hours. The room has 2 queen-sized bed but spacious enough to move around. Lo and behold, the bathroom has this "his and her" sink (for couple) or if travelling with friends, at least you have a sink for yourself and have your things in order at your own space. Feeling cold or scorched under the hotness of summer, no worry though, because you may enjoy a cold or hot shower. Azzurro Hotel provides complete toiletries and to keep you awake all day or night long - you may prepare your hot cup of coffee or tea - the way I did before bed. Yes, there's also a complimentary coffee and tea available in the mini bar.

What I liked about Azzurro Hotel is its strategic location, having convenience stores, restaurants, spas, among others, surrounding the hotel. Whatever my needs were within reached. Indeed, the hotel caters both leisure and business travelers with a brand new and different kind of hotel lifestyle. Within the hotel, you may enjoy their offerings like a variety of recreational facilities which includes massages, gym, sauna, and Jacuzzi. And right after dinner, we went to the roof deck as there was a live band serenading the guests having a chill and relax time at the Terraza Rooftop Restaurant.

Every morning was a new day and what made it more vibrant was the delicious and heavy breakfast at Capri Lobby Café and Bar. Buffet breakfast was composed of Filipino and Western cuisines while having a salad bar on the side for those who love greens, fruits and veggies as a day starter. While we were on the peak of having a great time, it was already time for check out. And as much as I wanted to give in and take advantage of the following unrivaled services and amenities, the clock ticked so fast for us to say an ibid goodbye.

Seems like 3 days of stay was not enough that I couldn't even try the Jacuzzi Outdoor pool, well, I still have something to try and look forward for my next stay at Azzurro Hotel.
