BonPen Festival 2011: Kulinarya

Kulinarya Cooking Competition was part of the BonPen Festival 2011 held last year (29 October 2011, 11:00 AM) at the Remedios Etorma Suarez Memorial Auditorium (RESMA) in Unisan, Quezon.

Kulinarya BonPen 2011 welcomes the participation of professional chefs from restaurants, clubs, hotels and catering institution in the Philippines. The amateur level is open to team of students from educational institutions and culinary schools accredited by the Philippine Government. Wherein, the participants will cook dish with Goat Meat and Guinea Fowl. This aims to promote the goat meat and guinea fowl to all of us as that would create a sumptuous food. Chef Tristan was also present and cooked for the Suarez Family and to show support to the BonPen Festival 2011: Kulinarya event.
The Objective of the Kulinarya Cooking Competition.
A. Goat Meat (Mutton, Chevon)
Objective: To prepare and present within ninety minutes (90 minutes), three (3) main course for four (4) persons consisting of goat meat (mutton, chevon).
 Goat meat at approximately 2 kilos of goat meat per team (rib part, tenderloin, shank) will be provided by the organizer;
 Competitor’s choice of accompaniments and garnishing to compliment the meat. Appropriate sauce (can be more than one) to be served.

B. Guinea Fowl
Objective: To prepare and present within sixty minutes (60 minutes), three (3) main course for four (4) persons consisting of Guinea fowl meat.
 Guinea fowl at approximately 2 kilos of Guinea Fowl meat per team will be provided by the organizer;
 Competitor’s choice of accompaniments and garnishing to compliment the meat. Appropriate sauce (can be more than one) to be served.
