Privato Hotel - Your Comfort Hotel in the Metro!

Good morning ladies and gents! Writing this post at the Piazza Privato Restaurant (6th floor) of Privato Hotel while having a dessert available in the breakfast buffet table. Yay! Finally, a staycation after decades. Lol. I'm just exagerrating things so that the boyfie would give in on my simple pleasures. And pleasures means having a mini vacation somewehere, and that's include staying in hotels within Manila.

After taking some time browsing and searching for the right hotel suited for our taste, we ended up with Privato Hotel which has a great deal posted on DealGrocer! The Executive Twin Room only cost Php2,500 including buffet breakfast for 2! Such a steal, right? But wait, there's more! An additional 10% is up for grab if you are going to purchase the voucher via your BDO credit card. Thus, we paid a total of Php2,250 for our overnight staycation. It seems that I've been evolving with my budget skill. Lol. Guys, that is one of the options I check before booking a room - look for discounted prices, deals, and promos. You may also call the hotel directly to ask for their ongoing promos. Because, I believe that we don't have to deprive ourselves from posh and luxury travels, we just have to be resourceful and be in the perfect timing! Right? That's one of the reasons why I am not really a fan of backpacking.
Anyway, Executive Twin Room is a 22 sqm. room, equipped with 2 single beds, a 27-inches flat television mounted on the wall, complimentary tea and coffee, a hairdryer, and some toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, and shampoo and conditioner (not enough for two though so better bring your own). Just in case, you need something, a convenience store (Mini Stop) which is open for 24 hour is just a minute walk away. While, Capitol Commons that houses diffrerent restaurants such Tipsy Pig GastroPub (where we had our dinner, will write a separate post about it) and Estancia Mall where you can dine and shop are just accross the hotel. So, comfort and convenience is yours when staying at Privato Hotel.

that we converted into this! :) Don't worry, before we check-out we re-arranged it on its normal setting.

However, there might be cons and pros, perhaps it is more of setting real expectation once you check-in. The lobby is quite small which has a cake shop on the left side of the receptionist desk and the swimming pool is quite small and always crowded anytime of the day, maybe because it is weekend. Thus, it explains why there were kids running and shouting in the hallway. But nevertheless, you can see the smile on kids' faces which connotes that they're having fun. Hoping that there could be a separate pool for adults and kids so every guest can enjoy their amenities. For gym buffs, there's a gym located in the roof deck where the swimming pool is located.

noticed the hairdryer? Girls' must have!

Anyway, on the other side of the roofdeck where Verona bar is located, a stunning view of the city during sunset and at night could be yours. It is relaxing view while sipping your favorite coffee or shake. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our orders because the bar was reserved at 7pm and they don't allow to serve it in the pool. I assumed that this is due to safety purposes. Lol. The brownie ala mode was pricey though, an order cost Php250 having no fancy taste.

Come morning, we had a buffet breakfast located in the Piazza Privato Restaurant (having a free time to write this lengthy post, too!) which included on DealGrocer voucher but to those who has room-only booking, buffet breakfast can be avail in the hotel for Php350 per person which is quite reasonable. This resto has a great ambiance, a huge Monalisa portrait is installed in the wall and an artwork of birds on a tree branches gives the restaurant a cozy ambiance giving me some creative juices being squeezed out of my braincells. Ha-ha. By the way, the swimming pool still blockbuster at this very moment, time-check, 10 o'clock in the morning. 😀

To sum it up, we had a wonderful overnight stay at Privato Hotel, which gives us the comfort we look for in a hotel within Metro Manila. An affordable boutique and posh hotel that has a convenient location just along Shaw Boulevard. By the way, a lemon-infused water is also available in the lobby for all hotel's guests or I think to everyone who is in thirst! Staffs were also friendly and approachable.
