PLDT & ME – The PLDT 85th Year Facebook Promo

We, Filipinos, love to take photos especially nowadays that even a cell phone has a built-in camera for us to have a within reach camera to capture moments. And I bet, as you look on your captured memories there’s a loved ones beside you to listen on your wonderful stories. But it does not end there, even our families, friends, and loved ones in a distance would probably know what is the story that lies behind it by simply calling them, reaching out to them thru phone (not unless, you’re the type of old-fashioned persona that wanted to share it via snail mail). 

With that said, PLDT, as it celebrates its 85th years of giving us the best way of communication that has been part of our homes, schools, and even for the success of business for decades, come up with an exciting and fun activities for everyone. PLDT has a new promo for its Facebook fans that they will surely enjoy. This is a way of saying “Thank you” for entrusting PLDT to be part of their lives and because they believe that this milestones are also every Filipino’s milestones.

From the successful “Then & Now” promo, where some of the latest Samsung Gadgets were awarded in a weekly draw for four consecutive weeks, here comes the “PLDT & Me” promo. This promo encourages everyone to upload a photo of themselves, their relatives, or their friends using a PLDT telephone unit. The photo can be from as long ago as 1928, the year PLDT was founded, to this date.

 

Excited? Yeah! Here are steps on how to join “PLDT & Me” Facebook promo.

1. Go to this link: https://apps.facebook.com/PLDTandMe/
2. Install the application by clicking “Install” button and then a pop-up window will be opened, click “Okay” button. (Please see screenshot below.)
3. A Gallery will be opened where you can see entries. Click the “Continue to upload” button.
4. A registration form will be opened, fill-out the form (make sure that details are correct for them to contact you if you win), afterwards, click the “choose a file” button and look for you photo with PLDT telephone in it, and click “submit”

Note: You will receive an email from PLDT within 24-48 hours to let you know if the photos submitted are valid.

5. Check the Gallery and share your entry on Facebook by simply clicking the “Facebook Share” icon.

6. That’s it, you’re done! Wait for the weekly raffle draw. Good luck!

Weekly e-raffles held beginning October 4, and all qualified participants will be eligible to win. This time, the prizes are even more exciting because each raffle winner will receive two Samsung gadgets—and there will be three winners every week. So, for more chances of winning, submit more photos as you can but you may only win once. Non-winning entries from previous draws will automatically be included in the following draws (which is the week after).

Why is PLDT so keen on giving away such gadgets? Because these devices are among the different platforms that customers can enjoy with their PLDT subscription. PLDT’s Head of Public Affairs Ramon Isberto explains through this statement: “PLDT's move into multimedia services seeks to take advantage of its extensive and robust fixed and mobile platforms to deliver digital media content such as entertainment like music, photos and video through various devices including laptops, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.”
