How to manage stress

Dealing with stress is not an easy feat. I, myself can attest to that. What happened to me was days, even months of self-doubt, anxiety and everything in between. I questioned every decision I made especially concerning to my peers’ corporate life. That would basically affect their personal life. That before and after sleeping, I was praying and hoping for a no-mistake slash no-stupidity kind of day, that I’ll be tougher as the day goes by and reassured my peers that there’s nothing to worry about and  whatever happens, we are still one team, one big happy family. But at the end of the day, I was terrified, I feel alone, I feel betrayed and these thoughts kept haunting. With that, I’ve decided that I should rather quit than lose my sanity and all the good vibes. Sadly, that was how bad stress hit me , that I  even decided to wrote a letter of resignation with no plan but with a thought of shutting down all the negative vibes and hopefully make everything right and fall into places the way it pleases me. I was in a not-so-good-shape situation that made me forget the rationale behind of hard work for ten years. But amidst of all this hardship, once in a while (for me, I did it at least twice a week), a visit to massage spa helped me conquered my fear, anxiety, and stuff like that. It calmed my body, mind and soul and eventually replaced all the negative vibes with a happy thoughts, memories and to focus on what’s important. Here are some tips on how to manage stress and eventually have that fulfilled happy heart. ❤️

Stress and Massage Therapy

There are only a few sensual experiences that can rival a full body massage when it comes to stress relief and pleasure – at least when it comes to things that you’re able to discuss in front of your kids at dinner. The word regarding the health benefits of this type of therapy has spread. It’s becoming more and more popular to get a massage when you need stress relief.

Massage for Depression, Anxiety, and Stress

This is a fusion of techniques that have been designed to induce stress relief and relaxation.
Swedish Massage – With this type of massage, the client will lay face down on the massage table. The technique blends tapping, kneading, and gliding techniques that are performed in a manner that’s rhythmic. The name for this type of massage has become synonymous with relaxation massages.

Hot Stone Massage – During this type of stress relief massage, the therapist will use smooth stones that have been heated. Many people say that this is quite relaxing.

Reflexology – This one isn’t exactly considered to be a completely relaxing massage. During reflexology sessions, only the feet and hands will be massaged. It tends to be a bit relaxing and is a fantastic alternative for those who are a bit trepidatious when it comes to getting a full body massage.

The Effects of Stress

Research has shown that stress can affect each part of your body. When you’re experiencing too much tension, it can naturally lead to stiffness and pain in the muscles. However, what you might not know is that it’s also been linked to difficulty sleeping, stomach issues, fatigue, and headaches according to the Mayo Clinic. When you finally get the chance to enjoy a relaxing massage, you’re actually doing your entire body a huge favor.

Lifting Your Mood

Consider this – when you’re dealing with a lot of stress, do you ever feel depressed or anxious? Maybe you have difficulty relaxing and getting the good rest that you need. It might even be difficult for you to focus enough to get things done. You might even feel irritable or overwhelmed. Whatever effects that stress has when it comes to your mood, getting a massage is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing ways to make that daily stress just melt away.

Massage and Your Heart

Research has proven that massage therapy can help lower both your heart rate and your blood pressure. This reduces the amount of strain on your heart and will help you when it comes to maintaining a healthier circulatory system. It doesn’t matter if you’re just trying to stay in shape or if you’re trying to be healthier, massage can be a powerful tool in your arsenal when it comes to reaching your goals.

Knowing all of this, why would you not at least try it out? You might even be the type of person who wants to help people and decide that this is a good career path for you. Either way, massage therapy is certainly something that can be beneficial.
