02112011 | Food of the Day!

It’s Friday! The end of weekdays and weekend begins. But before the end of day, I wanted to share you my dear readers my foods of the day! I have once again tasted a delectable delicacy from Bicol on which Ate Pi’s mom made for her, oh what a loving mother! – a suman! To all my fellow readers who don’t know suman, here’s what I got from Mr. Wiki – “Suman is a rice cake originating from the Philippines. It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves. It is served wrapped in buli or buri palm (Corypha) leaves and usually eaten sprinkled with sugar. Suman is also known as Budbud in Visayan dialects in other parts of the Philippines.

And for our dinner, we have these foods to pig out on dinner.

Cheesedos and Vegetable - Squash and String Bean with ground Pork -- my Food

Fried Tanigue and Rice with soy sauce. -- Jamie's food

Fried Maya-Maya Fish

I don't know the name of this but it is vegatable. - Chopped Pechay with Tofu and ground Pork

That’s our foods of the day! I am looking forward to posts more foods and I wish I can also post on how these foods being cooked and prepared.

Ooops, I will leave you a look for the day! Ate Pi, Jamie and I were wearing headband. Pretty and looks good on us.  But don’t mind the chubby faces of us. We’re still cute! Ha-ha.
