SM Cinema Family Movie Day!

For me, weekends should be spent wisely and productively since my weekdays are already reserved for work. In most cases, I love spending my weekends with my love ones. Well, it is a perfect time to catch up on things and talk about what had happened for the past days, have a quality time over a sumptuous meal, chill-out over a fancy coffee or by simply watching a feel-good movie.  Whatever we’re up to, I know having those moments could create a bond that worth to be cherished.

With that having said, I spent my Saturday at SM Southmall and got to experienced first-hand ‘SM Cinema Family Movie Day!’ In the era of technology, we tend to use most of our times in front of our smartphone, laptop, tablet or any gadgets that steal our time to notice and celebrate life’s little surprises. We tend to compromise the meaning of having a ‘real chat’ with our families and friends because we rather chat and talk to them via mobile app such as messenger, skype and the likes.  Thus, having a ‘SM Cinema Family Movie Day!’ once in a while could give us an idea on how to appreciate more of our life and of course, celebrate it with our family!

SM Cinema Family Movie Day is a way of SM Cinema to treat families to a day of fun activities, lots of freebies, and an exclusive family movie where kids will get to watch for FREE!  Kids also able to play, draw and coloured some Pinocchio’s images and other characters. There was also a puppet show where kids as well as kids-at-heart hardly giggled at before we headed to SM Southmall Cinema 5 to watch Pinocchio. Surely, it was an unforgettable, fun-filled weekend for everyone in the family.

How it works?

Just buy 2 tickets to the family movie of the month and 2 kids get to watch for FREE!  The family movie day kit includes:

• 1 free bowling game
• 1-hr skating pass
• 1-month subscription to Blink
• Other perks from Pancake House, Nivea Men, and other brand affiliates.

Patrons will also have access to a kids’ corner, full of different games and activities that children will surely enjoy.

SM Cinema aims to encourage families to dedicate a time for bonding with each other by bringing back the Filipino’s classic habit of weekend-movie-watching with the family at the cinema.  The SM Cinema Family Movie Day started yesterday, July 2 to 3, 2016, and will occur monthly in SM branches nationwide.
