One of the frequently asked questions nowadays is, what you are going to do after the pandemic? Personally, I have a lot of things going on in my mind – mostly, food trips and travels! And Vancouver is one of the places that I look forward for once the world is safe to be explored – with less travel requirements. While I was exploring the city in the western Canada, I couldn’t help it and be amazed of that the city has to offer to the extent that I was looking for random Vancouver homes for sale that might be something that would interest me in the future while working hard to attain that goal one day.

Meanwhile, as I went on with my virtual travel in Vancouver – I couldn’t help it but be amazed of these fancy restaurants in the city that, based on the photo, aesthetic and reviews, are awesome restaurants that you may try in Vancouver.

    What is good about this restaurant is that the menu is ever-changing based on the daily harvest from the farmers and fishers where Chef Gupawan get his ingredients.

    It is also for people who can happily reserve seats for dinner weeks ahead. Menu highlights from scallops, scallion and seaweed to organic beef sirloin with special caramel sauce that are worth the wait!

    Hawksworth Restaurant

    With so many awards received for the past years, Hawksworth Restaurant is definitely worth to be added in the bucket list! From “Canada’s 100 Best” which was listed as #11 to “Where to Dine Awards” for Best Fine Dining. I do splurge, once in a while, so this one is on top of my list!

    Located in the historic neighborhood of Gastown, Wildebeest is the perfect farm-to-table restaurant that is also a must try! With a diverse selection of old and new world wines and carefully crafted cocktail list – it’s definitely an happy hour that I wouldn’t want to miss when in Vancouver. 

    Tucked in a refurbished 19th century building, with a multi-level space that offers a front house cocktail bar & lounge, open-concept kitchen, an inviting dining room with banquette seating, and an intimately-set private dining room – Wildebeest is surely would upgrade the dining experience.

    There you have it – my top awesome restaurants to try when in Vancouver! It is always good to know that there are something that would awaken my salivating thirst for great food once the pandemic is over!
