My nieces visited and stayed with me for a week a month ago; going out and do outdoor things was limited because kids 18 years old and below are still not allowed in some places but good thing, there were areas nearby that were open for kids such as the Track 30th Park in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). It is an open area, al fresco, and kids are allowed for activities such as walking, running and or jogging, have fun riding e-scooter and or setup a little picnic nook. But for my nieces, it was so much fun to be in the outside for a very long time since the lockdown started over a year ago. With that having said, one fine afternoon – I brought them to BGC to have fun and have a breath of fresh air.

Since it was an afternoon of random outdoor activities, I opted for a comfortable clothing where I can move freely. Oversized shirt, shorts, running shoes and a snapback are always my go-to outfit. By the way, I found a site that sells snapback hats wholesale that you can, basically, customize based on your preference. I liked how good the qualities were. Well, if you are up for a new business idea – then, this might be place where you can get your supplies. Going back to the topic, as soon as we arrived in BGC – I already saw amazement in their very eyes. Well, they lived in the north and tall buildings, establishments and infrastructure such as in BGC are not the usual view they would see in their area. We rented an e-scooter where Yen and Izza used to go round within the park area; while my 8-year-old niece (Gail) and I, went for a quick jog. She got tired so quick so we just decided to sat down and chit chat. When the city lights started to light up, we decided to wrap up.

The park is quite jam-packed; people did random things – running, walking, chit-chats in ala-picnic setting, people watching, among others. Safety protocols were observed and everyone were wearing a mask, which is a good thing because it only means that they were taking cautions regardless of the environment. The girls enjoyed our mini outdoor activities that they already scheduling when will be the next one.
