Alta Vista de Boracay

Gone were the days where only nipa huts can be seen around Boracay Island. Now, as a traveler whether for leisure or just having the pleasure of traveling, Boracay Island now offers a lot of options in terms of accommodation depending on your budget and lifestyle. You can get good deals for as low as Php300.00 per person per night at Station 3, mid-range hotels at station 2 which ranges from Php3000 to Php12,000 and for those who wants some luxury and quiet space, Station 1 is for you! Hmmm… still on my bucket list to at least stay in one of the luxurious hotels located in Station 1 since most of the time, I was at Station 2.

Welcome to Alta Vista de Boracay!

Last Labor Day in Boracay also known as LaBoracay, I got an opportunity to stay at Alta Vista de Boracay located at Barangay Yapak, a 10-minute drive from the white beach. Its location is a quiet and secluded area perfect for vacationers who wanted to relax with an amazing view and having plenty of greens – nature at its finest, to be said. More so, going to and from the white beach to the hotel is not a problem at all since there were public transportation available 24/7 and a free shuttle is also available from 6 o’clock in the morning to 12 o’clock midnight with an hourly interval.

Alta Vista de Boracay has a huge reception area with superb interior design and a home-y ambiance connected to hotel’s infinity swimming pool. This hotel is really away from home. Well, that’s because the developer is the DMCI Holding which is known for creating luxurious and resort-type condos, where having a home-y atmosphere is one of their signatures. If I were to visit again Boracay Island anytime soon, I still choose Alta Vista de Boracay to be my accommodation. The staffs were friendly and up to provide great service to each and every guests. They were always smiling and willing to help you, especially if you have luggage.

We stayed at Studio/Deluxe Suite, a studio unit which features an approximately 45 square meters of interior space. It is equipped with two queen-sized bed with a private balcony perfect for a morning coffee or evening tea, coffee/tea maker is also available in the room, while enjoying a magnificent view of green mountains. What I liked most is the bath tub, yes, with the hotel room being spacious, they’re able to installed bathtub for the guests to enjoy some relaxing moment before bedtime. For your important belongings, they have safety box placed at the closet. Mini kitchen, which includes kitchen wares and utensils, is also present in our Studio Suite, so if you want some extra romantic dinner, you can set it up in the balcony. Perhaps, ask for the staffs help with regards on this.

Though, breakfast was not something to look forward as limited selection was available during my stay, it only had 3-4 viands. Though, buffet breakfast comes free if you booked through their website.

hmm... my favorite place

Staying in a hotel away from crowd and close to nature is what I always look for whenever I travel. It gives me an inner piece which led me to discover new things and ideas that create stuff that would help me to become the better version of myself. However, in every vacation there’s always a time to say goodbye to come back to a usual life that I have in Manila but this time, it’s not goodbye but see you again, soon. Three days and 2 nights were not enough but one thing is for sure, this hotel instilled its beauty on me.

On the other note, I am already missing Boracay Island and I can no longer contain my excitement for my family getaway in this beautiful island come summer. Hoping to see you there, loves!
